Eury Dam is located in Montgomery County, N.C. My grandfather, Arthur J Edgar Eury, was in charge of concrete pourings and lived there as dam keeper after it was finished. My father, Clyde Eury, and most of my uncles and aunts,13 children - 2 dying in infancy, were born there. All my life I have heard stories about Eury Dam. I will tell some of those stories and also speak of "cabbages and kings."

Unemployment Benefits
Shame on all those members of the Senate who are denying the extension of unemployment benefits to the needy unemployed. It's cruel to punish so many families.
